DIGITAL SIGNATURE

Digital signature certificates (DSC) are the digital equivalent (that is electronic format) of physical or paper certificates. Examples of physical certificates are drivers' licenses, passports or membership cards. Certificates serve as proof of identity of an individual for a certain purpose; for example, a driver's license identifies someone who can legally drive in a particular country. Likewise, a digital certificate can be presented electronically to prove your identity, to access information or services on the Internet or to sign certain documents digitally.

Class-2 Certificates : Required for Income Tax/ROC

Class-2 Certificates are issued as Managed Digital Certificates to employees/ partners/ affiliates/ customers of business and government organizations that are ready to assume the responsibility of verifying the accuracy of the information submitted by their employees/ partners/ affiliates/ customers

For Class2 DSC document Required:

  1. Fill the complete form as per attachment
  2. Paste Passport Size Photograph across the signature by applicant
  3. Attach identity proof of any one (PAN Card Mandatory for ITR e-filing) Pan card/Passport/Driving License
  4. Attach Address Proof of any one Electricity Bill/Water Bill/Telephone/mobile bil/ credit card statement/bank statement attested by bank manager with latest 2 month transaction/Passport/Driving License/PF st./Gas Connection proof/Property tax Receipt
  5. Require e-mail id. Of applicant or CA/CS/Professionals
  6. Take Signature on the Application Form

Note- Documents should be self attested or attested by CA/CS or Notarized or Gazette officer

 

Class-3 Certificates : Required for e-Tendering

Class-3 Certificates are issued to individuals, companies and government organizations. They can be used both for personal and commercial purposes. They are typically used for electronic commerce applications such as electronic banking, electronic data interchange (EDI), and membership-based on-line services, where security is a major concern.

Class-3 B (n) Code DSC Document Requirement

  1. Fill the complete form as per attachment
  2. Paste Passport Size Photograph across the signature by applicant
  3. Attach identity proof of any one
    PAN card/Passport/Driving License
  4. Attach Address Proof of any one
    Electricity Bill/Water Bill/Telephone/mobile bill/ credit card statement/bank statement attested by bank manager with latest 2 month transaction.
  5. Company's PAN card
    Authorized Letter in favour of the certificate from the Applicant organization (As per the Format)
    Any one proof :-
    • Certificate of incorprotation
    • MOA and AOA
    • Registered partnership Deed
  6. Authorization letter print on firm, company letter head if you have proprietorship firm attest by bank manager it's compulsory, if you get partnership firm and company so attested by other partner or MD
  7. VAT Registration Proof should be attested (Proprietorship case)
  8. Latest ITR/Balancesheet

Note- Document should be self attested or attested by CA/CS/Notary/Gazette Officer
